The pool is located on 165 Grove Street next to the Tenafly High School. There is abundant parking lot next to the pool facility.

About the Pool
The Tenafly Municipal Pool is a newly renovated outdoor facility with a large shallow end bisected by a deep end with two diving boards. The 2-acre grounds also include a kiddie pool, basketball hoops, volleyball net, ping pong and more. A snack shack and bathhouses are also on site making it an ideal setting to spend a summer day. Dedicated lap lanes plus special member events and lessons ensure that the pool offers fitness and fun for all members. Come join us and enjoy the new pool grounds with updated amenities!
Dates and Hours
In 2026, the season will open on Memorial Day weekend, May 23, 2026 and closes on Labor Day, September 7, 2026.

Membership Rates
Both residents and non-residents of Tenafly are welcome to join the Tenafly Municipal Pool as members. Employees of the Borough of Tenafly and the Tenafly Board of Education may join at the Tenafly Resident rate.
Family: For families, including parents, unmarried children and grandparents residing in the same household. Children over the age of 18 and grandparents must submit proof of ID with a matching address.
Couple: Adult married or civil union couple with no children OR one parent and one child residing at the same address
Individual: Individual Tenafly resident who is at least 13 years of age by May 23, 2026, or a non-resident individual who is at least 18 years of age by May 23, 2026
Senior Couple: Married or civil union couple residing at the same address with at least one individual who has reached his/her 62nd birthday by May 23, 2026
Senior Individual: For individuals who have reached their 62nd birthday by May 23, 2026
Guest Passes
Available for purchase for Tenafly Municipal Pool members only. Adults 18+: $20, Children ages 3-17 $15, Children 2 and under-Free. Increments of 1 or package of 5 passes are available. Register on Community pass.
Snack Bar
Our snack bar will be open and operating all Summer with a wide variety of hot and cold foods, snacks, ice cream and beverages! Snack bar seating will be available within the pool area.
Activities on site
Basketball, volleyball, ping pong, corn hole, soccer, Mega size Connect4, board games, music, contests and more!
Swim Lessons (check back for registration information)
Paid swim lessons will be offered on premise. Stay tuned for more information.
Swim team (check back for registration information)
The Tenafly Swim Team is open to 5- to 17-year-olds interested in participating in fun, supportive competition. Practices will take place at the Tenafly Municipal Pool (165 Grove St.) on Mondays to Fridays from June 22 to the beginning of August. Meets will be held on a weekly basis. All participants of the swim team must be members of the Tenafly Municipal Pool.
